6. Preventive Care & Maintenance

Please note:

To remove dust from optical glass surfaces (of transmitter or receiver optics), you

may use a pneumatic brush. Do not use solvent containing cleaners to wipe

optical surfaces down. You are advised to contact the Manufacturer if there is

contamination of a more obstinate nature.

Refrain from the use of solvents for cleaning work.

You are prohibited from opening the LMC J 0050 3.

Do not release any screws of the LMC J 0050 3.

In the event of necessary repair work, you are requested to carefully pack the LMC J 0050 3

away, indicate its particular operating environment (applications, communication

wiring

details, environmental conditions) and send it back to your local distributor
